It was a bit muddy today, but there were a lot of us out enjoying the trails today. I personally counted 187 steps going up the green space on the back side of the dam, but other people in my group got slightly different numbers, but all were less then 200. Some of the trails are more challenging then others, we walked all the way to the fire tower, it was a good hike. Other then some of the hills, the paths that we chose were not too challenging. Read moreIt's a dam. It holds back water. But there are several picnic tables and several hiking trails. For kayakers, this is good place to launch from and end up at Mohican State Park. Fishing is available at the bottom of the dam or by a hiking path.
