Douglas Trail is moderate, through forest, significant climb. The trail next to the waterfall is very strenuous and more rewarding. Parking lot is accessible from both Old Mine Rd and the campground road.

This way, via the creek side to Sunfish Pond is a real challenge. Don't recommend if your not fit. Lots of steep terrain and rocks to climb over, trail not marked.

Very nice trail. 3 different waterfalls close to the beginning of the trail. Trail keeps going to the top and splits off into a few different options.

This trail heads up to meet with the AT crossing the Rock Cores trail along the way. The parking area is shared with the Garvey Springs trail which also crosses Rock Cores so there are plenty of options for hiking variations. The Douglas passes by the AT camping area just prior to reaching the AT. From the AT intersection, it is not too far to Sunfish Pond and well...
