Great campground. Clean. Flush toilets and showers and porta potties. Never a wait for a bathroom. Staff is friendly. Quiet. Beautiful. Right on the Delaware river. We stayed at spot number 3 and this is the view of the river from there. The campground map makes it look like the sites are close to each other. They are definitely not at all! Lots of space! We kept all of our food in the car just as instructed and had no issues with any wildlife. A skunk wandered into camp one night as we were around the fire. Everybody just stayed still. He wandered under the picnic table and then wandered out. It was a pretty cool experience. We will absolutely be back!! Had an awesome weekend camping!

Amazing campground . The office was very friendly ! Wendy is awesome at the office . She makes you feel welcomed . Clean , beautiful , and well kept campground . On your way to old mine road , be mindful of the traffic . It’s a NARROW road . For some reason most drivers were not Following the 15 mph speed limit and going way to fast . The campground clearly marks the road . Besides that I will definitely be going back to this little slice of heaven 🏕🌈❤️

Best family friendly camping spot in NJ. Wonderful view next to the Delaware river. Well maintained Washrooms. Camp office staff was friendly and helpful. Activities : trail options easy to some what hard. Mount Tammany trail is very near by. Birdwatching. Kayaking in Delaware river 25$ per 2 hours. Archery session for upto 10 people. Need to book in the morning. Overall we had a great experience.

Arrived Thursday. That night there were thunderstorms. We expected a ranger to come around and warn campers that they should sleep in their cars or something like at other campgrounds but no. If you're not knowledgable of what to do, you're out of luck.

While talking with one of the workers, it was mentioned you can do whatever you want and no one really cares. And boy, was he right. There are no rangers on site to enforce quiet hours. Friday and Saturday night, one of the group sites decided to turn their site into a nightclub. Drunk, beligerant people playing music on speaker, screaming into microphones till 4am on Friday and 3:30am of Saturday. We tried to talk with them, but they said they paid for the site so they'll do what they want. We called the non emergency number for noise complaints thats posted everywhere, and no one came out. The music got to the point that I was calling every half hour. This same group decided to park on the road with their high beams on to illuminate their campsite, making it impossible to see the road while driving in. And kept the pit toilet doors opened. I'm assuming they thought that it would disicpate the smell inside the outhouse but all it did was make that whole are wreak. The the parks department had a ranger or two patrolling the area some of these things could've been nipped in the bud. Overall, I was really disappointed at my stay here. There's a level of safety I normally feel when I'm staying at site in NY that I did...

I'm typing this at 2:22 AM as the group site next to us has been playing amplified music into the wee hours of the morning for two nights in a row.. We called the number for the noise complaints...and nothing. Where is the oversight in this place? There is no park ranger on site. So you are pretty much on your own here. If you are looking for a nice peaceful getaway from the city to quietly enjoy nature....this is not it. I've been looking forward to this trip all year(after having stayed here in 2013).... I'm am so disappointed.

*Additionally:

There was a thunderstorm on Thursday night, and in the past, at this site, a police officer or ranger would warn us to sleep in our cars if the storm was too close. I naively assumed the same would have happened now. That did not happen now. I stayed up all night and timed the Thunder and lightning in case I had to...

A beautiful site ruined by selfish people and an organization with low standards.

Ruined by mass campers with no consideration of others. A circus both times I came.

The last two times, the last two years, and the last straw. Two years, both times i had to leave a day early because of unbearably loud people.

They are overcrowding sites, screaming kids, running through our site. Kids everywhere. It’s a circus.

An entire outing crowding 4 sites with 50 people. Yelling and singing into the night. Utterly self centered and annoying people ruining camping for everyone else.

You will find no peace here. The bar for the humanity that visits here is so incredibly low it’s like Golden Corrale but camping.

It’s almost as...
