The space itself is beautiful. Everything about having our wedding at Shriners was great EXCEPT Paulette. Very old fashion in the way she goes about doing everything. Talked over you, didn’t like to listen to our ideas and always had another suggestion. She was the worst event coordinator. Extremely condescending and rude to us AND our guests and told us that we would be able to tear down the morning after our wedding just to be blindesided the night of our wedding and told to get everything out of there that night and said that we were not able to come back tomorrow to do it due to another event. We scrambled to collect some guest to help tear down and got it all done. Unfortunately it left me hoping to forget that part of our otherwise close to perfect special day. Honestly if we didn’t get married at the end of the pandemic in 2020, we probably would have chose somewhere else. Would not recommend for weddings if she is the...
Read moreThe syria shriners facility is gorgeous. But i was not there for a show. Nut rather, for a fabric sale held by avthird party. So this review is not reflective of the actual facility, but rather, group who actually held the fabric show. I Never went to fabric sale by this group but won't bother going again. It was so so. Didn't seem to be many customers. Even wondered when we got there if it was the right place because there were only a couple vehicles in parking lot. Inside building entrance was very quiet. Not sure where inside we were to go since there weren't any people. Just started looking around and finally found it. They should have had a sign in lobby directing you to them inside! Possibly people came and left because they couldn't find it inside the building. But because therme wasn't a lot of what I was looking for, I probably will...
Read moreVery nice place. It was clean, spacious, nice rest rooms and free parking. Went there for a cabaret, where no outside food and drinks were allowed. Not crazy about being out of there by 1am, so the event ended at midnight. But the doors opened at 6pm, with the band starting at 7pm. They provided the food and drinks. The drinks were very reasonably priced. They had a very limited food menu, consisting of a hot sausage sandwich, which was more bun then sausage with very little sauce and onions, red peppers, etc. nothing like what it looked like in the photos, which I couldn't eat anyway. Don't eat pork. Spaghetti with a salad and roll, not the usual food item for a cabaret and not the most popular dish. Chicken wings, which was the most desired item, which they were not prepared for, long lines, and wait times, with my friends order coming back not...
