My kids had fun. The water was so nice so they picked a good spot for the park. And they had a good variety of inflatables to enjoy. The paddle boards were a good touch too and fact they did not try and charge you an extra fee for them is great!! Also the water is clean. You don’t leave it feeling dirty and perhaps due to extremely hot weeks the water temp was great. Now improvements. But keeping in mind they are brand new so they are growing and hopefully they have already thought of these improvements Immediate- clean the floats regularly some were getting gross at crevices make it more handicap friendly for those accompanying those who are playjng better bathroom facilities. The porta potties were gross. They should build or bring in one of those bathroom trailers so feels less like a porta potty. And more like an actual bathroom Facility. should have a changing area. They should allow you to stay at tables and chairs for longer than the 1.5 hour slot bc you pay a lot of money. But space is very limited so understandable Longer terms They should expand the “beach” area for larger groups. Perhaps use the level area “lower parking lot” of parking area as good spot to creat larger hang out area/picnic area Continue expanding the inflatables pwrhaps varying difficulty so it would be easier for different people to enjoy it. If there is a way - add something to inflatables so it is easier to climb back up onto them after slide/swing/jump/bounce/fall off into the water On further end may be some motorized fun

Overall a nice start to the place. A great way to exhaust the kids (and yourself😂). And fun day trip from Md DC and VA. UPDATE. We went back for second trip and they listen. They added a trailer with AC!!! For restrooms and they have “changing rooms” no light or air circulation in there so be quick using it but it has hooks and a bench to change in private and plenty of space. They added two additional floating cabanas as well.

Hopefully they keep making improvements to make it...

I was so excited for this place that just opened a few weeks ago, and my experience was absolutely horrible unfortunately. I paid $160 for just 3 people to get in, only to be treated with complete disrespect by the staff, ruining what was supposed to be a fun day out. DONT TAKE ME WRONG THE VIEW AND WATER WAS STUNNING BUT, The situation escalated quickly when a lifeguard, Natalia, falsely accused me of being drunk, (just because I was giggling with my friend) and even though I was 100% sober. Instead of handling the situation professionally, she became aggressive and started cursing at me. It didn’t stop there—within 10 minutes of arriving, we were unfairly kicked out. Natalia wasn’t alone in her unprofessional behavior. A manager named HARRY came over and joined in on the harassment, making racist remarks about my Hispanic friend, laughing with Natalia as they made offensive jokes. It was uncomfortable and disrespectful, it felt like we were being targeted for no reason other than our race and background. The entire ordeal was ridiculous—within minutes, we were being kicked out, harassed, all while paying a hefty price for admission. Instead of enforcing any real rules or providing good customer service they were acting like petty children that hated their jobs.. It’s frustrating because we were just trying to enjoy a day at the waterpark, instead, we were met with discrimination and hostility. The lack of professionalism and blatant racism shown by Natalia and the manager is something I will never forget, and it’s something I don’t want anyone else to experience.

I won’t be returning to this waterpark, and I advise others to think twice before visiting. There are plenty of other places where you’ll actually get treated with respect and...

Our experience at Harpers Ferry Waterpark was extremely disappointing. Despite arriving 50 minutes early, we were stuck waiting in a long check-in line with no clear direction or organization. The event that was supposed to start at 1:00 PM didn’t begin until 1:30 PM.

We were promised 90 minutes of waterpark time, but the session was abruptly ended at 2:10 PM, even though it was supposed to go until 2:30 PM. In the end, we only got about 40–45 minutes inside the park.

Unfortunately, the problems didn’t stop there. After the event, only two buses arrived to take everyone back, which was clearly not enough. We were told another vehicle would arrive “in a few minutes,” but were left standing and waiting. When the vehicle finally came, it was already filled with guests from the next session, and we had to wait again while they were unloaded. It was a total mess.

I came with my wife and friends, and none of us would ever recommend this place. Save your money and time — this was not worth it.

AFTER OWNERS RESPONSE: According to the owner of the business, we arrived very late, but you can see what time I was there and what time we completed the waiver form by looking at the pictures I just added. Since there was a long line at the front door of the venue, we joined the line at the back and although there were 2 people in front of us, we were only able to complete check-in at 1 o'clock due to the slow work of the staff. In other words, we arrived early, but we were allowed to board the bus late due to the slow work of their own staff. Instead of making up for this with sweet words, they said that we arrived late and there was nothing...

This was our favorite attraction of the year! We purchased our tickets and filled out our waivers in advance. We arrived 30 minutes early for check in and were immediately greeted by Natalia and Sara with no H. They were definitely a highlight of our day! They were so friendly and knowledgeable about River Riders and the surrounding areas, their recommendations were a huge help. We really enjoyed chatting with them. We did not have a wait to check in and get our wristbands. Before your allotted time begins you will watch a 2 minute safety video and get your life vests. Everyone is required to wear a vest which was a relief. There is a sandy beach area with tables and lounge chairs for spectators. You can rent a floating cabana, we did not but I will when we come back with a group. There were no lines or wait to get on anything. I hope they keep the cap on the number of tickets the same next year, it was perfect. The lifeguards are plentiful and attentive. They really know what they’re doing here. Your ticket gets you an hour and a half on the inflatables and paddle boards, believe me it’s quite the workout and it’s plenty of time. Yes, it is as clean as it looks and yes the water is that clean and beautiful. I would love to gatekeep this gem but it really is too beautiful not to share.
