If the river was being rated by itself I would give it a ten. Floating is my favorite summer sport 😂. We decided spur of the moment to do this activity on our way home from Lancaster PA and I just picked a place from my phone that worked with our timing and didn’t do any research. This is not really a business but someone who threw up a little shack and hired a couple of high school kids to pretend to work. We weren’t sure of our timing so we just showed up. The person at the window was on his phone and we seemed a bother to him. He charged us more than the website stated. And asked if we wanted a bunch of extra items not stating how much they were. It ended up that he charged us $5 extra per person because we didn’t book online. I only found this out after asking a lot of questions. The kid had absolutely no training in customer service skills and didn’t seem to care whether we had a great experience or not. We ended up paying almost $200 for 4 people to float down the river. The man who drove the bus was very cheerful kind and safe. The best part of this experience was the float which I enjoyed immensely. The worst part was at the end as we were attempting to get over to the edge and disembark. The bottom is extremely rocky and has sharp objects that cut 2 of us. One of our party is elderly and has trouble with balance. He struggled to get out of his tube and to the edge. The employees just watched the struggle and the rest of us trying to help him, never moving toward the water to help or show concern. It could have been a very dangerous situation but we signed waivers so I don’t think they care. The disembarking point could be much safer if the bottom was cleared of large sharp rocks and covered in very small gravel. We all got the message that this establishment is trying to fleece people and doesn’t care about providing an excellent experience. Wish I had chosen another company. There are plenty to choose from.

We absolutely loved our tubing experience in Harper’s Ferry, WV! The check in and parking process was smooth- you just drive up and one of their team members directs you on where is best to park, and then you walk up to the hut for check in. We then went back to our car to make sure we were sunscreened and ready to go- then went back up to grab our life vests and cooler tube, and wait for the shuttle to bring us up to the tubing start point. I do wish their was a team member stationed at the start point to direct traffic while everyone is getting in, and help you get in the tubes + give you a push to the middle of the river- however it all ended up working out great. We were able to make stops along the way which made our tubing trip longer- loved that!! When you’re getting to the end it is super shallow and rocky, but that has nothing to do with the company and they do give a safety speech beforehand so everyone is fully aware of what to do. All in all we had an amazing time and will definitely be back!! Thank you!

Did the wine tour but I will never ever do it again! The kayaks we were told to use were not meant for river and we had to fight them the whole time to go straight instead of sideways. We ALL burnt our selves getting in them because they left them sitting in the hot sun on a 94° day and failed to mention before hand that we should cool them off with water. The guide is there to guide every step of the adventure bc we don't know everything and honestly ours was on his own trip apparently. The burning of my skin on that hot seat was too much I'm so upset. We were forced to break without question way way too early and when I did have any issue I would have to do a lot to get to find a guide... the guy in the back was never to be seen again after that break. There was so much water in my boat starting out and then after "cooling" it off I was sinking. The other guide tried to make me carry my boat up and then she stopped to talk to the boat gathers and left me holding it standing there. The wine was gross and no one liked them except the one guy and the sandwich was not worth it but not terrible. If you ordered the hot Italian you got a skimpy skimpy sandwich but the pork sandwiches actually looked filling but never again!! I spent THE WHOLE TIME FIGHTING THE BOAT! I did not like the trip and that's never been an issue...

These guys were so great. I was running late for my reserved session and called ahead to let them know that I was gonna be late. It was the last session of the day, so I half expected them to say that they could not accommodate us. Instead, the sweet woman I talk to said that it was not a problem and that she would accommodate us as best possible. I even got a call when I was 5 minutes out to confirm that I was still on my way. They gave us time to check in with a dog, a disabled adult, and an elderly person. It was the first time tubing for most of the people that were with me, so it would have been helpful to have somebody at the ramp to help us get in the water, but we figured it out. We have some issues with our dog, not liking the experience and jumping off of their river tube, but we managed it well. The staff was able to receive us at the end of our session and help us get off. Since we were the last session, I think the people behind us in the kayaks were actually staff members, ensuring that we didn't get stuck. All in all, it was a pleasant experience and I do it again, but...
