Easily one of the most diverse and easy to reach outdoor oceanfront properties in Southern Maine. Hike the woods, fields, or bike and jogging route. Pic nic at the bandstand, or swim and kayak with your dog at the beach. Lots of free parking, and almost never crowded. A true gem just a short drive from Brunswick. Make it a great afternoon, stop by Erica's seafood for lobsters nearby, then for dessert at Pammy's Ice cream.

One of our favorite places to go when we visit harpswell. It's always pretty, there's always enough space and it's just a great atmosphere whether you want to sit and read a book in the quiet or enjoy some goofing off with your family...

This is a great park. My husband and I run here and take out dog here. The beach is wonderful to let the dog run and play in. Dogs have to be leashed from 10a-4p but can be off the leash for water play. Overall, great place to visit.

Mitchell Field is as much a social experience as it is a wonderful experience for dogs. People have a general protocol that dogs are on leashes until voice communication assures the owners that the dogs are friendly and want to play. The atmosphere is relaxed and very much a community. The paths are varied, many are out in the open on paved roads. There is a beach to walk along, and a path on a road through the woods and additional paths into the woods or fields. Mitchell Field is a flexible route choice that can be longer or shorter as needed. If you're looking for a place to walk and enjoy the view, check out the photos of Mount Washington and sunset at...

Harpswell is lucky to have this wide open space for a mix of recreation and cultural activities. If you like the seashore, there's a nice beach and swimming area in good weather. Remnants of the old Pier allow you to walk out and enjoy the views up and down the sound. The gazebo, developed by volunteer local citizens, host wonderful music and cultural events in the summer. With many acres for hiking, bird, watching, or just plain relaxing, this is a lovely place to visit almost...
