Horrible customer service!!!!! My husband and I have been loyal customers here for a while. I really enjoyed their wines. We've been here multiple occasions from apple picking, pumpkin picking, wine fest and just hanging out and enjoying a bottle of wine and relaxing outside. My husband and i went on sunday september 3rd to enjoy a little wine tasting for sunday after noon of course it was a little busy so we waited and the guy behind the bar skipped over us multiple times like we weren't even there, i asked if i could see the wine list and he handed me the list and didn't even care about explaining anything so right away my husband knew what we wanted so we waited a little longer before saying something to notice that he skipped us again!!! took two other customers who walked in after us right away and didn't even acknowledge us still even after he asked the couple next to us if we were with them. i had to say hey can i order a flight of wine and still no response until the other girl over heard me. She said give me a minute ill be right with you. Waited about another 5 minutes she never came back. We decided to leave and ended up going to Wagon house winery to get excellent customer service from the 3 young girls working there maybe they should teach heritage staff on customer service 101 because they lack that. I will never be...

To start I had to take off 1 star because of a new rule they are implementing on Sept 1st which is that no infants or toddlers are allowed. We are members here and this new rule may end our membership. The place used to allow kids outside but now it is an adults only place, which while I understand inside seating being restrictive, the outdoor area is expansive enough to allow children.

As for the winery itself, it is a nice establishment and has great amenities. They recently expanded their indoor seating and outdoor as well as built the grape Vines into the seating.

The wine itself is one of the best I tasted in NJ and while not all of their wines can compare to ones you can buy from other regions there are a few that will surprise you. All in all good on average with 1-2 great ones.

The food is good but was disappointed on the size as I felt it was a little overpriced. They used to have food trucks around but seems they brought the food in house. The food menu is limited and as I...

Service Leaves Much To Be Desired For The Most Part: I appreciate "the pitch" in encouraging membership, and the attentiveness and pleasantries of one specific employee. This lead to my becoming a member. So the pitch worked! However, I quickly realized through my periodic visits, that would be the designee to provide service each time I visited. All others, as employees, turn a blind eye. Imagine that? This would go unnoticed by the majority, yet if you are intrigued by studying human dynamics, it is the most interesting approach to the establishments' attempt to appear culturally astute, thereby appearing to cater to a vast population. Varied populations will enjoy themselves at this establishment in accordance to their status in the "pecking" order. Should certain populations desire to enjoy the environment, I would recommend that you ignore the dynamics, focus on the party you are with, and focus on the wine. So will I return? Sure will...I love to study...

I'm not a wine snob, but I know what I like, if you catch my drift. I just wanted to say that to set the tone for this review. I was introduced to this winery a little over a year ago by a family member. He mentioned a winery with good vibes and decent wine. Being only about 30 minutes away, I decided to take him up on it. Let me tell you, the outdoor vibes here is amazing. The indoor vibes when it's cold outside is equally awesome. From the nice decor to the warm welcome from Traveeta (sorry if I spelled your name wrong), you can't go wrong. The wine is pretty decent. I enjoyed them so much I'm actually a wine club member. I'm not into sweet wines which is something they do alot of, but their regular Chardonnay and proprietors white blend are pretty friggin good. I'm not big into reds so when I go I tend to get the Cab Franc. All in all, you'll find something here to at least excite your palate. Overall, good vibes, good wine, check it out.

First time actually visiting this winery. My wife and I were greeted at the front door and confirmed our reservation. So far, so good. Then, she looked around the room and decided to seat us at a table against the wall. Mind you, there's ample seating and not a lot of guests at the time but instead of picking a better spot (like next to a window)... we are against a wall. Whatever their reasoning is, I kept an open mind and accepted it. Ordered a couple of "snacks" from the menu to go along with our wine. Didn't know that they were relatively small prepackaged items that were served in their original plastic containers... unlike other wineries I've been to that will at least serve them on actual plates/boards. (See pictures) Overall, a good place to go for good wine... and nothing else. I will be going back and make an updated review in a month, or two.
