I traveled from Pa to experience the farm with my prepaid tickets. I called in advance and viewed the website. No indication that all the buildings were closed due to the event. When I got there a very nice young woman attempted to help me. She made the director aware of my concerns who shouted something to me from across the property. I stood feeling foolish for quite some time. I knocked on the door of the main building and was then approached and told harassment of the staff would not be tolerated. Last year, I was looking for a place to take my grand daughter to celebrate the autumn season and get a hayride and pumpkin. For only $10 per adult and children under 12 FREE, on Sept 23rd and 24th from 11am-4pm, you get to see apple cider pressing & butter making, pumpkin painting, scarecrow making, hayrides, craft vendors, demonstrations of historical trades, live bluegrass music, food, kids activities & more! Bathrooms are at a premium and there is a lot of walking that isn't very stroller friendly but those with disabilities can sit and take a break before having to get up to walk to the next display. There are events all year long so look at the website...
