Blue Hawaiian Helicopters — Attraction in Hawaii

Amazing once in a lifetime experience! Great perspective to see Big Island from the air. I highly recommend the Big Island Spectacular Tour to see both volcano and waterfalls which lasts approx 2 hrs. Our pilot, Toshi, was very knowledgeable and personable. He has a great music playlist too. I learned so much. Amazing to fly around the active Kileaua volcano. Only thing better would have been if she started to erupt while we were flying. Blue Hawaiian does a good job with safety and instructions. The inflight/external video with dialogue during flight was a nice option to purchase for $120 after flight but still good to take your own pictures and videos. Initially was unsure whether to spend the money on landing at waterfall, but so glad we did. Jurassic park experience landing right beside waterfall and greenery on one side and ocean on the other. If you tend to get motion sick easily, I would recommend motion bands or some means to prevent. Air vents are above you but sometimes helicopter can be warm and contribute to motion sickness. Keep in mind that a comfort seat that costs $349 will be added for individuals weighing over 240 lbs. Weight on helicopter needs to be very specific. Polarized sunglasses recommended. Aloha, So this is my second review because I flew with Kaj the second time however first time on the Big Island Spectacular w/ Private Waterfall Landing & wow talk about getting lit up!!! It was definitely a phenomenal experience from seeing the volcano to the private waterfall landing. Wow, wow, wow talk about heaven on earth it’s so peaceful at the waterfall landing! I feel truly blessed to live in a place like this & better yet get to see it from high in the sky+ Kaj was so awesome to fly with, he was very knowledgeable about the entire island. Also tour was so smooth & so fun!! I took my niece w/ me for the first time & she love it too!! Honestly I want to go again & again!!! This is the best way to tour the island+

Aloha, So I have never flown in a helicopter before this was my first time, so I was super thankful & flying with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters was an absolute blast!!! First class experience indeed! Shane was a wonderful pilot, he’s very knowledgeable about the Kohala Coast & the music playlist for tour was on point, the beauty of the island even made me cry, it was so beautiful to see God’s creation in this lovely fashion. Unforgettable Helicopter Experience in Hawaii!

We recently had the incredible opportunity to take a helicopter ride in Hawaii, and it was absolutely unforgettable! From the very beginning, Jordan did an amazing job setting everything up — the booking process was smooth, easy, and we felt so taken care of before we even arrived.

The views were simply breathtaking — soaring over lush valleys, waterfalls, and the stunning coastline was like something out of a dream.

Dale’s expert piloting made the ride feel smooth and secure the whole time. He pointed out hidden gems and gave us plenty of time to soak in the scenery without ever feeling rushed. We can’t say enough about how safe, exciting, and awe-inspiring the experience was.
