Visited New Years Day 2024 from mainland US. Very helpful and friendly staff, plenty of omamori to go around. Arigatō and mahalo.

ハワイ到着初日にお参りさせて頂き旅の安全を祈願し御守りもいただきました。 閑静な住宅地の中にありハワイにあって鳥居をくぐると日本の雰囲気が感じられる不思議な場所でした1898年に創建され今年で125年と日本国外で最も歴史ある神社です。 以前はヒロ大神宮限定のビッグアイランドキャンディズのクランチバーがあったようですが今は置いてなくビッグアイランドキャンディズの本店に置いてありました($17) ライドシェアの車で行って帰りは歩いて帰ろうなんて思ったら誰も歩いている人なんていないし民家の庭で飼っている大型犬に吠えられ怖いめにあったのでKTAスーパーまで歩いて結局ライドシェアで帰りました、市内中心部から車無しで訪れるのは少々厳しいと思います。 旅行初日に参拝しおかげさまでトラブルも無く無事に楽しい旅をすることができました、ありがとうございました。
