This was our first stop after entering the park. We arrived around 8am and we were the only ones there. This was a great starting overlook to see the size of the crater. We followed the Crater Rim trail a little ways to the parking lot to the West and stopped at a few other overlooks along the way. You couldn’t really see the crater where the eruption occurred but you could still...

Plenty of parking but the volcano wasn't erupting either. Nice paved path to walk on with a great view. Sadly you can't get close enough to really see a ton. There is only one bathroom so...

Quick short walk to the viewpoint. Beautiful view of the crater. Quite a few parking spots were available. I visited on a Friday...
