Pristine sandy beach along the western side of Oahu. There are two beachfront condos, The Hawaiian Princess, and Makaha Beach Cabanas. Natural golden sand and crystal blue ocean water play tug-o-war for nearly a quarter mile. Humpback whales are visible between October and May and resident spinner dolphins, frolic year round. Mauna Lahilahi on the southern side of the beach, offers hiking and incredible views. It’s also a popular shore fishing location amongst locals. A boat mooring sits off the point in 90 feet of water. The angle of the beach itself is very steep and the water pulls you into the deep water almost immediately upon entering. Though it looks beautiful, especially from pictures, just about every beach on the island is better than this beach.
