We loved it here. The drawbacks are very little parking space and a huge flea market on the way to the Spouting Horn. There are restrooms but they are the bare minimum. No soap, lots of bugs around. Wear sunscreen and extra bug spray if you plan to video or take photos of spouting horn for a while. Most people congregate in the square. You can see a great view outside of it on the right or left sides. Also, the surf is beautiful to watch to the right of Spouting Horn. Especially during higher tides. Do not pass the signs which say do not pass this point for your safety. People have been swept down and severely injured and died when approaching the surf. You can get good deals from the Flea Market sellers. To get a good view of Poipu Beach go to The Beach House Restaurant earlier in the day. Or during sunset. During Sunset it is way crowded.

Definitely worth a visit! There's a ton of parking right off the road, and there's no to many people so it's easy to get an up-close shot. It "spots" every 15-30 seconds, ranging from a small gurgle to an impressive 20-30 foot high blast. It also makes an interesting noise to accompany the water, which adds to it's effect. There's also a few gift stalls ~100 feet away which sell small souvenirs and other small items. In addition to watching the spouting horn, you can also take a seat at one of the park benches and just watch the ocean. Overall a great spot where you can easily spend 20-30 minutes getting some great photos.

This is a famous natural blowhole attraction, it’s quite near to Poipu beach. The sight of water shooting through an opening in the lava rock coastline, the water thrust upto 50 feet into the air, accompanied by a deep roar, is truly amazing. The area is well-equipped with dedicated parking and restroom facilities, making it a convenient stop for visitors. Besides the impressive water display, if you're lucky, you may also catch a glimpse of sea turtles floating near to the coastline.

This is a great stop! You can spend all day at the cove right before you get there... snorkeling, but my favorite were the shops right outside Spouting Horn. The venders have amazing prices and great quality items. Their jewelry and grass purse selection is one of best on the island. As well as kid toys and stuff for the guys as well! We stayed at the 3 or 4 shops for well over an hour and a half and bought most of our souvenirs here when we came back at end of week. Happy Shopping!

A visit to the Spouting Horn is not to be missed it's beautiful and picturesque here with lovely views of the ocean and the geyser like blowhole in Kauai. It's not the biggest I've seen but it's still nice to see nature at it's finest....I guess it does depend on time of day and see conditions to get the greatest impact of the pounding of waves. Ample parking spaces at parking lot along with clean restrooms, you may also see lots of roosters and chickens here roaming free.

This is a must see if you've got a car you're driving around the islands to see the famous spots waterfalls caves or whatnot. Definitely go though during high tides you can have the best show of the global. Went in the mid-afternoon and we had some pretty good photos we took. Don't forget to look off the right side also for the waves come in it crashes beautifully all night crusted shore. See my photos and videos of both of them.😍🤩

Description
Spouting Horn is a blowhole located on the southern coast of Kauai in the Koloa district. This area of Kauai is known for its crashing waves. These waves erode lava rocks on the coastline which can create narrow openings, as is the case with Spouting Horn.
