National Tropical Botanical Garden Gift Shop — Attraction in Kauai

We think this is a must do when visiting Kauai. We loved it! We suggest the 2-Garden guided tour, where we learned a lot about the flora, fauna, and history of this magnificent garden island. So many interesting plants, peaceful spots, and photo ops in at this most fascinating, incredibly well-maintained, and huge private property. We went back for the Farmers Market and Hula Show; both of those were great and free. Lastly, I hate to spoil your potential visit by sharing my photos...go there and get some that'll make great...

The National Tropical Botanical Gardens is an absolute must…even for those that are not huge flower fans. If you take the guided tour (ask for Ron T), you ride through a private part of the property that gives you the opportunity to see stunning ocean views…not available otherwise. We did the 930am Best of Both Worlds Tour, which takes you thru the McBryde and Allerton Gardens. Our tour guide Sam was knowledgeable and fun. He has a strong connection to the gardens as his father planted many trees & plants. It's a great 2.5 hour tour, with many great photographic opportunities....
