This isn’t really a place for swimming—it's more about enjoying the peaceful scenery while relaxing at one of the picnic tables. It’s perfect for a quiet meal, conversation, or just taking in the ocean view under the shade of the trees. The parking lot is actually quite spacious, especially considering the small size of the park, which makes access easy. I heard that locals often refer to this area as Waiohuli Beach Park, and it seems to be more of a peaceful spot for quiet time rather than a tourist destination. The beach is said to be more rocky than sandy, with shallow water that might not be ideal for swimming. I also heard that the sunsets here are absolutely beautiful and worth catching. If you're looking for a quiet, less crowded beach where you can enjoy a picnic or just relax, this seems like a hidden gem.🌴🌊 If this beach is indeed one of those breathtaking, lesser-known spots, I can’t help but wonder—could the name “Waio Lena” have been chosen by the descendants of the Mālo family to quietly honor a loved one once remembered on the Richardson monument?✨

Absolutely breathtaking. You can view the moutains surrounding you while enjoying the beach. Beautiful surf. Warm water. Spacious picnic areas and very clean.

Quiet little spot, at least until the local younger crowd shows up with their thumper cars. But hey you may even get a chance to spot some turtles.
