Hawarden City Park — Attraction in Hawarden

We are staying at the campground as my husband is in town for work. It's a very quiet, clean campground. The park is beautiful & well kept. Very friendly people in town who wave or honk as they pass. It's a small town but this park is extremely nice. I love that these small towns in Iowa mostly have camper spots. As we travel fulltime to follow my husbands career. If we are ever in the area after this we will stay again for sure.

Utilized a camping pad near the pool for two nights. Very nice, clean park. Very quiet other than when the enclosed building is occupied as music can be rather loud. That however wound down by 10:30. Lots of fun activities for kids provided at the park as well as frisbee golf for young and older adults. You will need to bring your own frisbee to play. Town folks are friendly frequently waving at you as they drive, walk or bicycle ride past. Highway noise at the pads closest to to pool was not excessive. Very enjoyable spot we will utilize again...

Fun park. The disc golf course is enjoyable, but very small. Good for practicing long puts and mid range discs. Only 9 holes, but there's limited space, so it makes sense. Quick 30 minute games with four people. The playground equipment looked fine. Little siblings...
