Blu Dot Farm & Vineyard — Attraction in Hayes Township

We stopped into Blu Dot on Sunday afternoon and had a great time tasting wine in the trailer and then at a table outside.

Sam was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. She went out of her way to make sure our twin grandsons had everything to keep them happy and playing while we relaxed. I enjoy red wines and really enjoyed the Reserve Marquette and the Cala Boca. Both are good red wines with very different tastes. Cala Boca more of a port style sweeter red. Even though I'm not a sweet or white wine person, I did like the Semi Sweet Riesling too.

Stopped at Blu Dot on Friday afternoon with my daughter and her friends. We were trying to find fun things to do during her Bachelorette weekend. We had so much fun in the airstream! Laura kept us entertained with great music and her knowledge of the wine and cider. She even offered a delicious nonalcoholic drink for our pregnant participant. Great place - friendly staff.

As the DD of a small group, was not planning on partaking in the tasting. The Blood Orange Cider sounded interesting, particularily the part chilled - part slushy combo. Tried just a small serving - very nice, was like 3 drinks in one. Started with a straw sip off the bottom of the glass, then sipped like a frozen margarita.
