Without question, one of the better wineries we've been to in Georgia. Excellent views coupled with a great atmosphere and good wines. The views were excellent! There is a beautiful piece of property with two lakes down below past with grapes growing in the vineyard. The staff inside was excellent!!! So kind and so helpful. They have a sleeping of white and red styles to choose from and offer flights, glasses, and bottles. I wasn't smart and didn't flip the wine list over to discover the reds. Just meant I needed a second flight 🤷🏻‍♂️🤣 They had great cheeses, crackers, meats, and other snacks to make you experience perfect. There is a parking lot up top but on a busy day you may have to get creative. There are a few places you could park on the exit path so if the lot is full head down and find a spot to park. The drive from the road to the winery is relatively short but all gravel. Motorcycles won't fair well on that so get a lift to the top or take a little walk up there.

All of these stars are for the view - it gets a 10 for that. We went to the Stone House tasting room and the views were absolutely stunning. It caught me by surprise to say the least. It rivals the Napa Valley vineyards, but much more homey feel - not a ritzy tourist trap like Napa. Out of the 4 vineyards we visited on our trip, this was the most beautiful. Between the two of us, we tried 8 wines (2 flights of 4). Each flight was $12. There were a few wines that rose above the rest, but none of them ended up making the “bottle purchase cut”. Also, while the staff were very friendly and helpful, it wasn’t the most “personal” experience we’ve had this far. For those reasons I didn’t give it a 5. But wine tasting is very much a personal perspective and I highly recommend everyone stop here for a try. You will not regret it.

Wow, what an experience. We we're visiting hiawassee for the weekend and did our first vineyard tour here and it was the highlight of our trip. We had Eric as a tour guide and he was funny, personable and made the entire experience fun and interesting. It down poured while we were there but he didn't let it affect the tour at all. The vineyard is absolutely gorgeous, the tasting was great with a cheese and fruit plate and all of the staff were incredibly friendly. I'm embarrassed to say I've strictly been an Arbor Mist drinker up until now but I really enjoyed all of the wines we tasted. I mentioned I liked sweet wines to Eric and he let us try a bottle that wasn't on the tasting menu, Sweet Sally. We went home with a bottle and will be ordering again! We will definitely be back. Thanks for a great time!

Oh man! Haha I havent the slightest clue when it comes to wine but a vineyard was on my bucket list so while we were up here, we looked up all the vineyards in the area but this one caught my eye the best. So we ventured out today. I walked up to the counter feeling extremely intimidated that I'd say or do the wrong thing. Within the very first minute, the girl behind the counter had us all extremely at ease and relaxed which is a lot to ask from someone like me Haha. She had me feeling very confident in what I was drinking. I was able to taste 6 different wines for a GREAT price, then purchase a bottle for us to sit out and relax and drink. We even wandered around the vineyard a bit and took in the sites. The wine was delicious. We ended up getting a case of 6 to take home. The only thing I left disappointed in was that I'd selected a tee shirt at the beginning of our visit there which she wrapped up and held onto for us but when we were leaving I changed my mind on the shirt and swapped it out for a different one which shes then started to wrap. When we got home I found it was the one I didnt want which broke my heart a little but it was too late to go back. I do believe the guests I'd brought with me are going to make it any annual trip. If I'm ever back out this way, I'll definitely stop by. They have the cutest dogs too who love to walk you in...

With the virus scare and no work, my wife and I decided to make the drive to the mountains for some winery visits. We started our day with lunch at Paris and Company at Crane Creek Vineyards. The restaurant was great. Food was very good along with the service. Due to the virus scare the crowds were nonexistent which was our hope. The reds we had with lunch were great but our visit went down hill after lunch when we walked up to the tasting room for some additional wine tastings and our plan to purchase some wine for our collection of North Georgia wines. There was a group of about 5 or six young ladies doing a tasting being waited on by the man behind the counter. We milled around the store for 5-10 minutes then stood at the counter waiting to be helped for about 15-20 minutes but we were not even acknowledged as being there. After 30 minutes we walked out and left for the next winery. As we pulled out, my wife said, “What, are we invisible.” I just laughed. It was a shame since we really enjoyed the wines we had with lunch and wanted to purchase some for...

Sorry to see you were closed for a private party and didn't put it on the Internet. I drove some distance with friends to listen to your music and sit outside. Disappointing.......

After ordering a glass of wine off their written menu for 8 dollars was presented with a bill and now it's 10 dollars!!!! The "mgr" came out and LOUDLY said he would NOT honor the price I was first told!!!!! Talk about vaot and switch!! First ..and LAST.. time here!!!!! Said my price chart was in a stack of the latest price change and would not honor it. His excuse for being obnoxious was that he was busy!! This is what customer service has come to!!!!! I have been in the business for 45 years and would have NEVER treated a customer like that!!!!!!

Then to top it off I saw on my receipt he added gratuity WITHOUT my permission!!!! I tipped the server graciously but to have it added on top of everything else without my permission is less than honorable!! I hope the owner reaches out so I can let him know my experience with his "manager"!!! We...
