Absolutely beautiful little park with a nice stream, playgrounds for the kids, "exercise playground" for the adults, nice, paved trails for walking, a water wheel where an old grist mill used to be, modern art installations, fields for sports, pavilions, a spot for fishing, this park has it all! A morning stroll around the park will have you smiling and nodding to bunches of nice locals that will make you want to come back! The restrooms are nice and clean and there is plenty of ground-crew rolling around on their gators keeping the lovely grounds clean and free if debris. Read moreIf I could award a 6 star review on a place, this would be it. I can think of no better place I can go relax and enjoy some hours out in the open. It is always clean and well maintained. Here you will find a ramp for kayak and canoe on the Nottely river, a grist mill, and a walking - hiking trail going up and down (or around) the hill, where it meets the Coosa Creek and a couple of bridges connect it with Meeks Park, the sports fields and other facilities. No pets allowed, for those you will find a separate designated area on the other side...
Read moreThe park was beautiful & peaceful. Nottely River runs through it. I took my shoes off & walked in the river. It was just a little over ankle deep. They have a grist mill but it wasn't open. There's walking trails & a small playground for small kids. There is also picnic tables & huge rocks to sit on...
