Perry County Park — Attraction in Hazard

It was a blast. Love the updates to the dog park and the walking trails. Didn't give 5 because their was dog feces everywhere and no bags to clean up with in the dispensers. I was told the campers take them because they walk their dog at their camp area or other areas so they take all the bags. That's not really the parks fault if that's the case. However, this isn't a set fact but just what I heard from other dog owners using the park. My dogs and I find the fountains very useful and appreciate the many options such as the water bowl on the bottom and the spout on the side to help clean up any mess. My husband and I love to swing and play mini golf, which is a free amenity, unlike the pool that has a fee.

Clean Bathrooms 90 Percent of the time. The one Boy that works there, Drew, really works hard in keeping them and the whole Park clean. Many things to do. From Swimming to Putt Putt to a Bicycle or Skate Park. There is also a Track for walking/Running and a Hiking Trail in the Woods above the Picnic Shelters. Or you can Play Tennis or Baseball or even Basketball. I hope when you visit you have as much fun as I did. And don't forget to let the kids play on the playground. Absolutely incredible!!! Hiking trails are awesome!!!! For such a small town..... I wish nature lovers from around the world would see this, its one of the best walking trails for mushrooms or just enjoying a hike in nature. This place needs more recognition and for whom ever was involved in the creation of this place needs a pay raise and a special place in heaven.
