Princess Arch — Attraction in Hazel Green

It was a exceptionally windy day. The walk to the arch was easy. The path was wide. Many spots to the right and left to "hang" over the cliff. The arch is now closed in with a fence due to a tragic accident. I can see how you could fall off. The view is panaramic and literally breath taking. It's right next to Chimney Top Rock. Nice arch,but so many trails leading off the main trail,I would think that's why there are so many lost and hurt hikers in that area and the the disrespect that people have shown these sandstone formations is just shameful,carvings all over the rock,surprised they haven't closed this area down in order to preserve what's left,shame on everyone who has helped destroy these...

It's one of the more popular trails so even on a weekday it can be busy. Restrooms at the beginning of the trail to is nice! You do have to drive almost 3 miles on a gravel road to reach it but it's so worth it. Is a great spot to take kids because it is right by the creek with little sand bars for relaxing and...
