Simoncini Vineyards — Attraction in Healdsburg

My absolute favorite experience in Healdsburg and a unique experience from the big name winery’s. Wonderful owners and super great wine. I’m a red wine drinker but loved their Chardonnay enough to get a bottle. If you are willing to splurge a little do the lunch and wine pairing in the cave. It’s 95$ a person and great experience. Not a ton of food but it was good food and I wasn’t hungry when I left. (We ate breakfast at 9:30 so that may have helped) I am not sure which wine was my favorite - loved them all. They offered a port at the end and people seemed to like it but I’m not a port drinker so got another glass of zin instead. The food changes but we started with warm cheese croissant, small soup, some kind of beef tips (about 4 pieces) and dessert. We had 5 wines at table and extra zin right out of the barrell. Anyway...

Fabulous "Spring Lunch" at Simoncini Vineyards. In May, we joined about 25 other guests for a wonderful afternoon enjoying Simoncini wines while savoring a multi-course family-style meal. Ken Simoncini presented a broad range of terrific white and red wines including vintages back to an outstanding 2013 Simoncini Pinot Noir from the Cleary Ranch Vineyard in Russian River Valley. We had an amazing tasting experience here. The owners couldn't be more warm and accommodating. The caves are so interesting to see. We got a very personalized tasting including a Pinot from the barrel as a comparison to a bottle of the same grapes. Really cannot recommend enough. Pretty sure we're going to join the wine club.
