Viszlay Vineyards — Attraction in Healdsburg

From photos you can tell this place was once a fantastic spot to do a wine tasting, but when we stopped by in May, it really felt like this place has stopped trying. We were taken to a large room that was dusty and cluttered and their bathroom available to guests was in dire need of a deep clean. Our group counted maybe 3-4 spiders chilling in there. We were definitely arriving on a high from our previous wine tasting and when we got here, that tanked quickly. The owner and his daughter didn’t say much and kinda lurked there while we ate our lunch and it was weird vibes overall. To top it off, we weren’t huge fans of the wine and of course this spot had the highest tasting fee even though the wine, ambiance, and service didn’t live up to it. Abbey was great I have no complaints about the tasting with her. What was absolutely ridiculous was her father coming in from the other room to yell at the entire party to be quiet or he was kicking us out. First of all it was not loud enough to warrant a warning let alone one of the owners to raise his voice to customers. Second of all if someone is loud at your winery I hope you would be a little more accommodating than telling a group who is there to spend money to "shut up" and you will kick them out. Needless to say the experience was sub par and the wine was mediocre at best. Don't waste your time taking the trip out there.
