Good wine, good food, nice people. As a wine connoisseur and adventurer of food proportions, I tend to try to stay close to home during these times (pandemic is all the rage) to get my fill of beverage and eats. The place was packed, we didn't mask (although carrying them). We entered the main winery building near the entrance and realized it was brimming with people. We'd almost decided to leave when a nice woman saw our hesitance and told us we could sit in the "back". A folding table and several chairs, but the staff's courtesy excused all of that, and we felt accepted and comfortable, considering we were just discussing leaving from there because of feeling weird wining and dining without the protections we're acclimated too during this period of history. The wines (sweets) we're pretty astounding and not too expensive. We enjoyed brick-fired pizza, a taste testing of five of their wines, and then split a bottle between the wife and I during dinner. Everything was darn good! Then we purchased four bottles to go, at an average of $15/bottle and sat in the car to let a buzz subside. The place is nestled in the hills with an amazing view over the vineyards if seated outdoors. A definite for us to return! You...
Read moreMy husband and I decided to stop here on a whim for a Valentine's Day (one day late) date together. We had never been here before or knew it was so close to our home. It was slow because it was snowing/sleeting/raining and during their slow time of the year. There were select wines and hard cider options available to be sampled but a full list of many more options of bottles to purchase. It's a "mom and pop" business that I really had no idea about! I had one of their wines several years back at a public event but never knew anything else about the place! The owners are EXTREMELY personable and passionate about their work! The wine and cider is made on site. We even got a mini tour! They explained their wines and ciders to us. We didn't buy any food, but they offer wood fired pizzas and charcuterie. It felt very personal (in a good way). Super sweet people! It would be nice to return in the summer and also recommend to my...
