Pineywoods Vineyard Winery & Tasting Room — Attraction in Hemphill

I was gifted a surprise wine tasting to celebrate my birthday. Pineywoods Tasting Room is the perfect place for a celebration and a wonderful addition to the community! The decor is full of fun details that make it so inviting to sit, relax and enjoy the ambiance. The staff is extremely friendly, and were dedicated to making our time with them fun and memorable. Lauren's enthusiasm and expertise made the wine tasting a fun experience and the perfect way to introduce us to Pineywood's wonderful wines. (We couldn't decide on a favorite so we took home several bottles!) The charcuterie board was very generous and filled with all kinds of yummy flavors. My girlfriend and I are visiting Burkeville and we were very excited to try out this winery. As soon as we walked in we noticed the soft ambiance and the very nice set up. We didn’t feel welcomed as we were not greeted with open arms or any warm welcomings. The woman working in the front did not seemed eager to serve us instead she shooed us upstairs for a local vendors event. And after we came down stairs to the bar once again there was no eagerness to serve us. And while we were leaving another group came in and asked is this the winery and the lady replied with a very sarcastic remark stating “uh yeah this the tasting room”. You can go in by yourself, unwind to great background music, and enjoy a snack along with a wide selection of incredible wines to match your mood.
