Note: There is a park fee to enter Lake Mead recreational area, if you don't have a National Park pass. No campsite fees, however.

Trailhead is behind a camp site spot. Bathrooms and parking are close by the trailhead. 2.80 miles total (out + back), on well maintained path which traverses through rolling hills. 200ft of total elevation change. 2.5/10 difficulty, and tennis shoes are Ok.

We saw a Coyote, a Rabbit and some big Lizards. Beautiful views the whole way up and back on this route. Mid June, very early AM, low 80's temperature, we only saw 4 other people on the trail today. We spent a total of 1 hr. 45 minutes on the trail, but we stopped often for pictures and just looking around.

At the very end of the trail, you get the Best views, and if you look left, you can see the Wetlands Trail not far away up the LLV wash river. This is not a long hike, but a fun and rewarding spot with many beautiful views of the wash and surrounding...
