NOTE: We rented the visitor's center for our wedding. This “barn” has been renovated to have air conditioning and hardwood floors. It is a modern building in every sense of the word. Frying Pan Farm Park has been hosting events for many years, and it shows in their coordination and planning. They have clearly laid out policies, checklists, and they are there to guide you through every step from booking a date to getting a liquor license. They have a plan in place, but are also flexible to their customer’s needs. For example, they were willing to let specific people (photographer, set-up team) onto the upper balcony, and they were able to accommodate cars in their parking lot overnight for guests who felt safer taking an uber. Their staff were knowledgeable about their sound equipment and were willing to tinker with it at length until I was satisfied with what we were getting. Through our planning process, they also made a few upgrades to the facility. The new sliding barn door in the Auditorium looks great! They also provided us with to-scale floor plans so we could design the layout of the tables for the reception. I really appreciate how the staff treated us and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to book there...

First of all we had a disappointing experience during our 4 year olds birthday party !! Wagon ride being the last activity for the barnyard bash theme . We were made to wait more than 30 mins for the wagon . Every time we ask they would say it would take 15-20 mins for the wagon to arrive !! Mind you this a separate wagon reserved just for the birthday parties . Finally when there was no sign Of wagon and kids started to get hungry we gave in and started serving food . Exactly When that happened the staff came To us saying the wagon is ready( few mins before 3 pm ) . What do you expect us to do? We were forced to give up the wagon ride activity “apparently because they have to wrap Up the wagon stuff by 3 pm ? Seriously ??????? We were extremely disappointed and so were the kids !! The wagons should have been ready by the time we came Out the gardening guru program or at least within 10 -15 mins after that !!!! We felt totally let down and extremely...

Frying Pan Farm Park is a park located in Fairfax County, Virginia. It has a variety of attractions of both a historic and recreational nature.

The park contains the Frying Pan Meetinghouse, listed on the National Register of Historic Places and dating from the 18th century, and the Old Floris Schoolhouse, constructed in 1911.

One of the attractions of the park is Kidwell Farm, a working demonstration farm. It recreates a 1930s farm and still has many animals including cows and horses. Frying Pan Farm Park hosts many equestrian events throughout the year at the Activities Center, featuring an indoor riding arena and two outside rings, and has a 4-H club.

For many years turkeys pardoned in the National Thanksgiving Turkey Presentation were sent to live at Frying...

Free entry for families Ample parking space Social distancing in place Liked the peaceful walk along the path while watching animals and open sky and njoying the great weather. The Carousel was open, need to buy tickets online and it costs 3$per kid on weekend and 2$ per kid on weekdays, adult goes free with the kid. The wagon ride is open only on weekdays, as we went today(Saturday) Didn't get a chance to ride it. The park is big and beautiful. Some of the animals looked a little sad. We saw horses, ducks, peacocks, chickens, pigs and sheep's. It was a good experience overall.

I can't believe this park is free. If we'd packed lunch my kids could have spent most of a day here. There are lots of farm animals, demonstrations, and barns full of farm equipment for kids to look at. For a small fee there is a wagon ride and a carousel. There is a small gift shop where you get the tickets for the washing rides and can also buy drinks and ice cream bars, but it doesn't sell "real" food. My GPS took me to the parking lot for the visitor center, which is about a five minute walk from the farm. There is another parking lot much closer to the farm.

We are here today evening for quick visit. It’s very good place but park timings are not good. It would be great to have open the part till sunset at least during weekends. We were there 3.20 pm and kids wanted to go for wagon ride but it’s already sold out for the day. There is a small kids play area and lot of space for kids to play. They also have space for some animals and rides too. Kids have enjoyed the park and animals. It’s very close to Tyson’s and residents place.
