My wife and I went to see some friends in MAMMA MIA. The dinner was fine although nothing fancy or elaborate. The food was a buffet and salads served family style. You will most likely be sitting next to some people that you don't know but, you're all there for the same reason so it's not hard to strike up a conversation. Desserts were tasty, I recommend one of the ice cream Sundaes. The lobby is quaint, decorated in country/antiques befitting the history of the building. It's not my taste but it was clean and well kept. Wait staff was friendly and attentive, offering refills and coffee and bussing our tables promptly(please remember them with a gratuity) . It was opening night of the show and, as an actor myself, I know how nerve-racking this performance can be. The cast did an admirable to good job with a big show in a small space. Good dancing and vocal work. Sets were minimal but workable. Lighting could be improved a bit since there were a few dark corners. Sound was good, not great, music was provided by tracks (as is becoming the norm) which were under mixed at times to my ears but better that than having them too loud and not hearing the vocals. Overall it was an enjoyable night of theatre. Great creativity and art happen in some unlikely places, Meyer's Dinner Theatre is like that. Hillsboro, Indiana may be a long way from Broadway but don't tell the artists ay Meyer's that. They are putting their work out there every time the house lights dim and the overture starts. Support live theatre whenever and...

Celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary, we had a wonderful evening at Myers Dinner Theater! We saw "Shaboom Life Could Be A Dream" and, before hand, a delicious home cooked meal.
The meal was salad / broccoli salad (family recipe), dinner roll, scalloped cabbage, corn, green beans, candied carrots, porcupine meatballs and bruschetta chicken.
The show was full of music from the 50s with a cute storyline tying all the songs together. The cast was spot on, entertaining to their fullest.
Great food and entertainment for a good price! We will...
Read moreVery nice dinner theater! You enter thru the general store, where there are restrooms and space to mingle. The general store has lovely trinkets and some ladies tops & hand bags to buy before and after the show. We went for an afternoon matinee and the buffet style food was very good. We had Swiss Steak & Chicken Breast. There was green beans with bacon, corn, mashed potatoes, and glazed carrots. Yummy! Myers is a small theater so every seat is a good seat. No being sat behind the pole or so far left or right you can't see the stage. The servers brought broccoli salad and lettuce salad to the table in bowls and we passed it down the table family style. Pitchers of ice water and iced tea were self poured on the tables, and fresh coffee and decaf was poured by the servers. Very impressed with the small town feel of Myers Dinner Theater! Went a second time and the menu was chicken and noodles, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and of course the warm...
