Tussock Sedge Farm LLC - 100% Grass Fed Beef (All sales through online store) — Attraction in Hilltown Township

We have been purchasing our meet from Tussock Sedge Farm for a while now. Their products are amazing in flavor, with the added bonus of being healthier for my family. I have previously reviewed their meats. This was the first year they have offered turkeys for Thanksgiving and I wanted to leave a review for that as well. WOW!!!! We could not believe how amazing the turkey was. To be honest we are not big turkey lovers, we make it every year out of tradition, but we also make another form of meat with the turkey being everyone’s least favorite. It was the opposite this year. My husband said the meat was so easy to carve. It was moist, tender, and I never knew turkey could be so delicious, I didn’t even use any gravy! Most impressive was that usually we have to force the kids to eat some turkey. This year all 5 of them went back for seconds. I didn’t think I would have a review for at least a few weeks since we just picked up our first order on Saturday. However, I had purchased the uncured corned beef and we defrosted it immediately to have for our St. Patrick’s Day dinner on Sunday. My sister purchased a corned beef from Whole Foods and cooked that separately. I haven’t done a corned beef in a while so after some research (looking for the laziest way to prepare it) I pulled it out of the vacuum seal bag, put it in my crock pot, covered it with water and 1 can Guinness and let it go on low for 7.5 hours. When we sat down to eat, none of us could believe the difference. The color was richer, the meat was more tender, there was far less fat and it lifted right off, and the flavor was outstanding! I’ve already converted my sister to Tussock Sedge and her friend in Napa CA wants to know if they ship! If you’re on the fence, just try something and you’ll taste the difference...

I've been buying all my food from Tussock Sedge Farm and I can confidently say it has completely changed the way l eat and shop for food. After doing extensive research on the poor quality, additives, and questionable sourcing of supermarket meats, I knew I needed a better option. That's when I found Tussock Sedge Farm online and I haven't looked back. I had always thought that if I bought organic at the supermarket that it was enough. Now I know otherwise! For instance, who knew that chicken should be corn and soy-free not only organic? You can’t find that in the supermarket anywhere!
