From the moment we stepped on board, it felt like we were just hanging out with a buddy from back home. Neil is laid-back, down-to-earth, and made sure we had the best time possible. He let us completely control the music, so we got to DJ the entire trip, and he encouraged us to bring our own drinks and food, which made it even more fun and personal.

Beyond just a good time, Neil also shared fascinating history and insights about the area, wildlife, and landmarks, keeping everything interesting without feeling like a lecture. The tour itself was spectacular. We were treated to breathtaking views of the sunset over the water,. As we cruised along, Captain Neal expertly navigated us to the best spots for dolphin watching. We had booked a tour of Daufuskie Island through Tour Daufuskie and they used Hilton Head Boat Charters for the transportation to and from the island. The departure location was easy to find and we had no issues with parking. Captain Neil delayed departure for a few minutes waiting for some stragglers who had phoned in with a delay. We had a good safety equipment talk then started the 45 minute trip. He was happy to answer questions along the way and occasionally pointed this out. There were 12 of us on the pontoon boat with room for a few additional people. When we arrived he escorted our party to the Tour Daufuskie people. For leaving the island, he was waiting for us when we arrived at the docks, and we left promptly. Once again he answered lots of questions on the return trip. We discovered that my wife had left her card case at the Iron Fish store on the island. Captain Neil coordinated with the store owner to get the card case and return it to us.
