Top O' Ledges Picnic Area — Attraction in Hinckley Township

This is a Great picnic area, owned and operated by the Cleveland Metroparks. It has a huge open grassy field, 2 bathrooms with pit toilets, a large covered pavilion with plenty of picnic tables, some picnic tables in a grassy area and plenty of parking. There are beautiful woods nearby and a trail through the woods that leads to the Top of Whipps Ledges. The trail is beautiful and it is lovely to overlook the ledges. A great place to park to access the Ledges trails. There's a restroom there (currently closed due to covid-19 but they have porta potties). There are a few picnic tables scattered under the trees. If you go there around sunset, you can see the raccoons raid the garbage cans - they'll crawl in, rummage around, and drag some food out under the ground. Good spot for relaxing with friends and family. Not everybody is in to trekking if you don't want to trek can just sit here and relax. The place is secluded and peaceful.Pack food, eat, play a board game and relax which is kind of holiday so i loved it to the fullest and had an amazing point. We stopped after a good hike. Parking...
