We really enjoyed the huge taxidermy display and saw many animals from around the world we have never seen before. The museum is small but worth the $5 admission. Plan on 1 hour or less to see it all. We enjoyed the great local artifacts and information about Merryweather Lewis. I wish the 1 volunteer working would have been a little more knowledgeable about the museum but that was okay.

Visited this place a couple of weeks ago. The patron was very friendly and helpful. The exhibits were very nice. They had a variety ranging from the local history to an exhibit of exotic animals from around the globe. There is a surcharge to enter, but it is worth it. There are also brochures available about the town and surrounding areas, as well as a self-guided...
