If your a birder this place is for you. As well as a Mycophile. Semi easy walking. You can spend hours here, and who could blame you. It's teaming with wildlife. It's very peaceful here as well. My wife and I go as often as we can. Also very nice wild flowers as well as planted ones. So bring a picnic and a camera. My suggestion to you is to visit the small house in the center. Very cool memorabilia, and pick up a map, then take west trail through the field all the way around until it starts to come around to the RIGHT where it meets south trail. Be aware that signage and trail markage is poor and this was a bit of a bummer for me. A few objects outside the Gould house seemed interesting but there was nothing/no one around to tell us what they had been used for. I guess the groundskeeper/owner of the Gould house wasn't there when we were (1 pm on a Saturday) and that was disappointing as we couldn't go inside the restored house.
