$5 for a parking pass for the entire day. The only sand beach at Table Rock Lake.
The bad thing is that the parking lot is rather high above the beach access. It is ramp access to get to the bottom, but still, it's quite a walk. Also, at the bottom of the beach access ramp (the 2nd ramp), there are stones set around and no ramp to the sand.
There is an additional/handicapped/time limited (15 minutes) parking lot at the same level as the changing/rest rooms and big picnic shelter (we didnt find out about it until we were leaving, though.) So you can park down there to unload your stuff and then drive back up to park for the day and then drive back down to load up and leave.
There are several covered picnic shelters with grills to use and one very large pavillion you can rent out for the day.
The beach is very soft sand. it's extremely hard to walk in and almost impossible to pull or push anything in (strollers, wagons, wheelchairs, etc.). Also, the sand is full of various smallish sharp objects, so i would not recommend going barefoot.
The water is really nice and very clear. It is also full of tiny stones that are very sharp, and the sand will try to suck your sandals off, making walking in the water exceptionally difficult. There is virtually no shade anywhere near the sand part, so take an umbrella or a beach tent, or you will...
Read moreA nice affordable way to access the lake for swimming. $5 per car to get in and plenty of parking. If you are going on a weekend during peak season, GO EARLY. We were there at noon on a Saturday and the lot was full. We came back Sunday at 9:30am and got right in.
There are bathrooms and also many picnic areas with shade.
CON: THE SAND WAS UNBEARABLY HOT by the time we left. Yes it’s normal but this was probably the worst I’ve seen.
Bring some sort of shade for your area in the sand, you’ll want it. Also...
Read moreNot to bad, the beach could use a little more sand but overall not to bad of a place to take your family to. If going don't forget to bring an umbrella or some sort of sun shade as there is nothing on the beach to keep the sun off of you. They do have restrooms and a place to rinse sand off of you. The beach also has a playground where kids can dry off and not be so wet when...
