I love love love this park my daughter an I hold many memories here ,but there was a group of younger children that were not being looked after on the playground an the poured soda pop down the slide an left there trash every where, they left flaming hot cheese puffs an the squirrels were eating them an they trashed the playground an a few of the girls trashed the bathroom an got soap all over ,I just want for who ever reads this to watch over your children if they act like this when left unattended, plus you should always be careful I had my daughter an step daughter an a friend of there's with me an the came to me while they were playing on the park to inform me of a man that kept staring an made them feel very uncomfortable,I proceeded to put my self in-between him an the girls an kept a close eye on him, he then left shortly after the girls told me, you can never be too careful I love the trails I love the amphitheater I love the turtles I love the pond I love the playgrounds I love Crowder...

I have been visiting this park for 20 years. Our favorite part has always been the trail around the pond. You can see turtles, ducks, tad poles, frogs, lots of birds and squirrels. Trail is either boardwalk or paved. You can call the office about donating your Christmas tree as fish habitats. The front parking lot is for the larger playground. There is a public restroom next to this playground. The back parking lot is next to the field that has a volleyball court and baseball diamond plus just plenty of space to run around. There is a small playground as well. Another rsteoom is located here as well. There are shelters with picnic tables that you can ren near front and back parking lot. Check their website also for their children's programs. Stuff...

My little calls this turtle park. Head here on a sunny day, and you will see them abundance. We park past the playground and walk the trails first, which includes two little pieces of equipment in two different spots. Right now, one of which is closed for repairs. Then after the trails, we end back at the big playground. It is nice because it has musical pieces as well as separate structures, one for older, one geared towards younger. Sometimes it's just us, sometimes we bring the dogs, sometimes we bring friends. A very busy park, but still well kept, clean, and perfect for any day.

Great park a lot of people seem not to know about. There's a walking trail around the pond where you can usually see turtles, two smaller playgrounds along the way. More trails go off a bit into the woods. The main playground has huge slides for the big kids and a smaller structure for the little ones. It's the perfect place to get a little nature in then get a little energy out.
