If you are a car enthusiast…. man… You have to try this the next opportunity you have!
Xtreme Xperience which is a program that runs at the Miami Speedway several times a year as an opportunity to drive your favorite exotic car on the track!
The program itself is very well put together! Very organized and their preregistration process makes it super easy when you get there to sign in.
The driving school was very helpful with giving you an insight of what to expect when you’re in the vehicle and on the track. There’s no way you would know how to handle these cars and the track unless you have these amazingly qualified and experienced instructors telling you what to do.
The ride itself is heart pumping and adrenaline inducing and you finally understand the power of these vehicles and pro drivers once you’re behind the wheel! You are accompanied by a pro instructor with thousands of hours of experience as they give you verbal and hand signals throughout showing you how to navigate the course!
I would highly recommend this to anybody that wants to safely experience the speed and power of luxurious super cars!
The only negative would be that there were a lot of upsells and add-ons. For what you pay to drive the top tier luxury vehicle, they should include the in-car video instead of offering it at $80+.
Other than that… once in a lifetime experience that I hope to do more than once in a...

We attended the NASCAR race and it took us over one hour to exit the place. All the security and police presence that was on premises before the race disappeared the minute the race ended. Spectator were left to their own devices to get out of the massive parking lot via a narrow exit that fits one vehicle at the time. There was some shouting, and honking. Tempers did flared at times but cooler heads prevailed. Things could have escalated to a very ugly situation and security was no where to be seen.... This is a premier event and not cheap by any measure. I don't think NASCAR would stick around if there would have been an insident!!!
I put this squarely on the shoulders of the Miami-Dade Commissioners. The same commissioner's that are doing everything in their power to make sure pro soccer and Ultra Music Festival among others choose another destination! Nothing but incompetence and corruption 305 style! For sure somebody got paid ...not those resposable for security.
Also note that there are no big screen monitors in the section immediately after the start finish line. Sections 208 through 211! ...although right in front of the pits the view is less than ideal compared to other...

Not at all a fan of car racing but was gifted free tickets to a NASCAR event.
For locals, this was similar to a day at the Youth Fair.
Pros: Standing areas open to all with very close access to view the track. Lots of food trucks/merchandise for sale. Outside food and beverages are allowed. Plenty of bathrooms and cooldown areas underneath the stands. Lots of free parking (includes a loooonnng walk). Very clean facilities and grounds.
Cons: Regular seats are uncovered. The sun is brutal. (Covered suite seats available for purchase.) Sound levels are unreal. Get ear protection before visiting. Location is far but the traffic wasn't too bad. (The speedway suggested using Waze to avoid traffic so we came across very little.)
As a one-time experience, I enjoyed myself. It was fun to see everything up close and in person. The vibe was family-friendly as well, which was appreciated. There weren't too many people for a Saturday 3pm race so I liked that it didn't feel overcrowded. But as a person that is not interested in racing, the experience wasn't enough to make me go back. I can see it being enjoyable for...
