Really disappointed we spent $1,200 on a subscription and we’ve mailed various times letting you guys know that we are moving and we’ve gotten no response. It’s been three weeks. We’ve spent approximately six emails and I’ve called numerous times. Can someone please get back to us so we don’t have to escalate this to a third-party ?

You will either be very happy or very unhappy here depending on your standards and expectations. Ask yourself these questions to see if this is the place for you:||||Can you handle running out of hot water when you shower?||Do you mind having ants and/or mosquitoes in your bathroom and bed(room)?||Does sharing a bathroom with the people who work on the farm and other guests sound okay?||Are you okay with not having your room cleaned during your stay?||Is friendly staff more important to you than the above considerations?||Are you willing to pay $130 per night (or more) for a camping experience?||||If you answered “no” to any of these questions then you will probably not be very happy here. You may have noticed the reviews of this place are split - the problem, in my opinion, is that the farm doesn’t do a very good job of setting accurate expectations. The descriptions and prices might suggest a luxury experience, but it is not even a comfortable experience by many people’s standards. Knowing what to expect will help you have a good time (wherever you stay) and help the farm avoid more...

We stayed in March for a couple of nights as we visited the Everglades park. The location of this property is perfect for visiting the park (although the neighbourhood isn't the best and made us nervous driving around). The property grounds is a working organic farm and is extremely unique and has a natural beauty to it (including a really cool natural pool area). The accommodations are also very unique for the area, with standalone cabins dispersed through the property. ||Our disappointment came with the quality of the accommodation and both bathing areas. They were probably very nice at one point, but are in need of some investment now in my opinion. Just because it is an organic farm, it doesn't mean that the quality of the accommodations for guests should be a secondary priority. It reminded me very much of bathing conditions at camp grounds I have stayed at.||The upside is that the manager (Ernest), is excellent and friendly and very accomodating. He makes a simple but excellent breakfast to start your day. If not for him I would have given the place a...

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Porch House. It has a screened front porch with a table. Inside is a bed, a portable AC unit, and small desk. It was right across from the bathroom which was nice. ||We sat with our legs in the pool, the little fish swam up and kissed our feet!||Earnest made a delicious breakfast with fresh fruit from the farm. We made a trip out to Robert is here, the keylime milkshake is DELICIOUS!||We only stayed one night, but wished we had stayed longer. ||This place is really close to the everglades. We went into the keys for dinner that night too. ||Will definitely be...
