Keʻehi Lagoon Beach Park — Attraction in Honolulu

This park with. Lagoon beach looks like a good place to jog, walk, bike ride. Tennis court nearby. Also, I see they have notes for a Pickleball court but I did not see those. There’s also construction near the front of where you first end of the park.

Parking nearby some of the beach areas. of watercraft staged in some areas. Not sure if you rent these from somewhere or if they are for rowing clubs or other use.

Park is pretty huge, the day I visited the water was pretty brown, but I assume it may be dirt and debris runoff from seven days of rain. So not as nice as some the pictures others have Posted. Water was warm, but a lot of vegetation debris As you first walk in.

Workers were doing crash pick up, but there was a lot of trash, bottles, etc. in some areas. Grass was cut nicely. Plenty Space two kickball around, do Football, frisbee, etc. but Seems really nice if you want to jog, Walk, Bike ride or do outdoor...

Nice view over the water of Honolulu city skyline against background of multitude of homes on the mountain slopesides, mountains often emshrouded with blankets of clouds that many times lift up, rising higher into the morning blue skies.

A large free parking lot is found out the end with a fenced off area blocking access to the tarmac of the airport. A nice get away place. No buses go there. Using Google map directions, driving via the H1 freeway from downtown Honolulu is confusing. Returning by way of the H1 freeway is also confusing. So in my estimation as measured against the view, visiting out there is a tossup as is not perhaps spectacular, although likely nicer...

It was perfect for the event. Saw families with their mat out relaxing. Children running around playing. Heard others say they were going swimming. Watched the evening entertainment under a tent. I enjoyed a BBQ plate and refreshing drink from the food stands on the side. They also had picnic tables setup so you can sit and eat. There was cricket game happening when I arrived. Heard there were culture workshops in the morning. Restrooms on both sides of the park. Plenty parking space. I met family and friends. It was a good spot...
