We went to Open Farm with our daughter (21m) & niece (13m). They had so much fun! This was a great activity for the littles, even toddlers as young as ours. My niece enjoyed the sand pit and our daughter loved petting the goats and feeding chickens. Our kids were tired by the time it came to harvest any veggies/fruits/flowers so we just strolled through the garden and farm instead. We'll have to come back many more times as the girls grow up and become more interested in pretend play (there's a super cool mud kitchen area).

Read moreI have heard people rave about this place for years and finally took my kids today. I thought it was just a vegetable farm and petting zoo, but it is so much more! They have this precious little play area under the trees that includes a wooden play kitchen, a pirate ship to climb into, a rope swing, a giant slide down a natural hillside, a sandbox with dump trucks and big pieces of tree bark and wood to build with, various raised platforms and enclosures to play on/in, and that’s in ADDITION to the chickens you get to feed and goats to pet!
