This 3.8 mile out and back trail is steep and beautiful and 90 % of it is in a dense forest. When you reach the top, you are generously rewarded with an up close and personal north face view of Mt. Hood which is framed by pine trees and boulders. I brought my 3 sons; 8, 14 and 16 who are at different outdoorsiness levels and we worked hard getting to the top but each of them said it was worth the...

We never got to hike because as soon as we got out of our car, Hornets attacked us and we fled to our car. We sped away, but the hornets kept pursuing us for lengths of 7 miles! Sure it is pretty but need exterminators to get...
