Umbrella Falls is gorgous and super easy to get to, a quick walk from the parking lot. The trailhead is located in the parking lot of The Meadows. It’s across the parking lot diagonally from the lodge. I was there during a heat wave and I was struggling with elevation sickness so I didn’t get a clear view of Sahalie Falls. Strap on your boots and brace yourself—this hike is a banger! 🌲💦 From misty waterfalls to jaw-dropping views of Mt. Hood and Mt. Jefferson, this loop throws you straight into a storybook. Over 20 wildflower varieties? Check. Scenery so stunning it just keeps topping itself? Double check.

10/10 would crawl under another log for this...

Visited Saturday 8/14/21 at 4:16am. Directions to the (shorter option) TH were a bit confusing as there is construction 🚧 equipment nearby to the short trail in the Meadows parking lot. I parked at a pull out on Meadows Road and hiked up hill a bit till I hit the TH. The Meadows on this trail were gorgeous and popping with wildflowers. Umbrella ☔ Falls was gorgeous and raging. .55...
