Umbrella Falls Trail #667 Trailhead — Attraction in Hood River

Umbrella Falls is gorgous and super easy to get to, a quick walk from the parking lot. The trailhead is located in the parking lot of The Meadows. It’s across the parking lot diagonally from the lodge. I was there during a heat wave and I was struggling with elevation sickness so I didn’t get a clear view of Sahalie Falls. Once you reach Sahalie Falls, there are trees in the way and you can hardly see the falls. Visited Saturday 8/14/21 at 4:16am. Directions to the (shorter option) TH were a bit confusing as there is construction 🚧 equipment nearby to the short trail in the Meadows parking lot. I parked at a pull out on Meadows Road and hiked up hill a bit till I hit the TH. The Meadows on this trail were gorgeous and popping with wildflowers. Umbrella ☔ Falls was gorgeous and raging. .55...
