Riverside Park oh that's a fun park we take the kids here we had a funeral this weekend it was extremely sad but we still had children with us so we had to find places for them to go on Hangout Sioux City is a small rule City so it doesn't have a lot of things at the bigger cities have but Parks they do have and this one is a good one Riverside we used to come here when we were little kids everybody loves Riverside Park they have the swings they have a swimming pool they just have areas to just relax they have a little Shack where you can go and get food if you want so nice will park you get a chance if you're just traveling through and you see it on the highway stop the great place to stretch your legs very relaxing and it's a safe Park...
Read moreRiverside park is a great place to enjoy some time with family and friends. It's nice to sit at the tables or play on the playground. They have big fields for doing different activities in. It's well maintained and they continue to add new things to this location. It's close to the pool, they have several parks, you can rent a shelter with a bunch of picnic tables for events, they have a soccer field, baseball/softball field, and open fields. There is a walk trail that goes through this park that goes all the way into the Riverside community and in the other direction it goes all the way to singing hills. I enjoy this place. Read moreOkay yes it is a pretty good Splash Pad it also has a bunch of playground equipment. However, whatever they have on the ground to keep kids from getting hurt is so hot it burns little feet. Do not send your children here unless they have aqua socks or some kind of waterproof shoes! There is a bunch of equipment to play on that are next to the splash pad that get hot enough to burn skin. Also this isn't one of those splash pads were grown ups can sit and watch the kids and relax because the kids run back and forth between the scorching hot playground area and the splash pad and there are too many dang fences up separating everything.
