We chose Beaver Brook Ranch while looking for Local Grass Fed Beef with a google Search. Through the website there is a chat option. Stefan was very quick to respond and offered us to come to the ranch-so we did. Stefan and his two girls were extremely nice and welcoming. He explained how they raise the cows and how they grow hay to ensure their grass fed diet continues in winter. He fully explained the butchering process and that the facility is USDA Certified. He showed us the pigs- where & what they eat and roam free. He also explained about poultry and turkeys and difficulties with natural predators.
At the end of the tour, we knew that we found the right place for us. We purchased a beef sampler pack that day. That evening we made hamburgers with the ground beef. From the first bite we knew we would never want to buy beef from a supermarket ever again. I was taken back to my childhood, when beef truly tasted like it should. The following weekend we made my grandmother’s recipe for boeuf bourguignon. We brought it to my mother (who is 80) to try and she almost cried. She was so overwhelmed with how much it tasted like her mothers because quality and freshness of the beef we used from Beaver Brook Ranch. My mother said she “could never duplicate that flavor with the meat from the supermarket” even though she tried numerous times.
We can’t wait to pick up our 1/4 share next weekend… and yes, we will be giving some to mom (she’s looking forward to it). This meat is so good we are making plans to buy another freezer so we can buy a larger share next time.

My friend and I split the cow before and now we just placed our second order that will be ready in a few months. If I could give this place 10 stars I would and the reason why is the quality of the meat and the customer service of the owner I believe his name is Stefan. I hadn’t ordered in bulk in awhile so I had forgotten how to complete the butcher instruction sheet so that my friend and I each got the items we want in our 100 pounds of meat so I called for assistance and Stefan greets you with a pleasant welcome as if you are his only customer waiting that needs assistance. He explained the processed and not once did I feel like I was being “rushed” off the phone as most companies handle their customers these days. This is what keeps my friend and I coming back. Next let’s discuss the packaging your share comes in. Everything is very neat it is freezer packed and nicely labeled. You can tell this task is done with love. Although this location is far away from me I will continue to support this business due to their A+ quality in their meat and customer service. I hope they never stop shipping to my state. Stefan and his family provide the finest care to their small herds of cattle, hogs and chickens. Their beef is 100% grass fed and finished meaning their animals provide the proper ratios of omega 6 to omega 3 fatty acids guaranteeing their products meet the very highest nutrient profiles required for human nutrition and health. Personally I have benefitted the daily consumption of their foods, reversing numerous health problems related to auto-immune diseases co prevalent throughout our country today. Besides being incredibly healthy, every cut of meat we consume has been beyond delicious and tender. I personally consume on a daily basis 1/2 pound of their ground beef and I have never had better tasting product.
