I live in Virginia and have been to this area before, but not in several years. Today a friend and I decided to visit but didn't quite make it all the way, as we got lost in the slums of Hopewell. Read moreLove this place. It has a long dock right on the river, and the park dominates the waterfront for about a mile. It's long and narrow, and it has two giant parking lots. It is one of very few places you can go after dark. It is great place to hangout by yourself, and also always trouble to find if your're looking for it. It's never shy of new, interesting, and very fun people to meet. Especially after dark lol my girl loves this spot as well prob more than me honestly she definitely gets her "complete fill" of nature and always leaves...
