This had been one of my favorite places to camp, especially while cycling. It's not usually very busy and it's right on the D&L Canal trail. Unfortunately, the rate has now gone up to $50 for non-residents, which is lot of money, especially for a site with no showers and a 1000 foot walk for running water. On the plus side, the sites are nicely separated by greenery and are quiet because they're far from the road. The toilets and running water are far, but they are always clean and well maintained. Plus, there is a nice disc golf course. It's a still a decent destination, but overpriced for what you get.

Great little campground tucked back from the road in a heavily wooded area. Our experience was great but I’m sure that all depends on your neighbors. Bathroom is a little bit of a walk if you don’t want to use the over flowing Port-a-John. Only complaint would be the standing deadwood in and over the campsites. Brother hooked his hammock to one of the trees and when he laid in it the tree shook and lost a few branches. It was for sure his fault since he didn’t check. Just a heads up for any looking to hammock camp.

We chose this place for our wedding venue. Absolutely lovely and much cheaper than anything else that is comparable. The rental period is Friday to Sunday which lifts a ton of stress from set up and cleaning. There is a substantial fee for non county residents. You may serve beer and wine with a permit and insurance policy. Would highly recommend for a big fancy event on a budget! No other amenities available with rental so plan accordingly.
