Pioneer Park — Attraction in Hot Sulphur Springs

The entire Park is not well marked from the west end ... as there is a small day use space with picnic tables and camping area along the river. However by taking the dirt road north (towards RR) just beyond the first entrance (w/sign) there opens up another large day use area with another 5-6 camp spaces and 18 hole disc golf course! This park has everything you will need from horseshoe games, swing sets , places to walk around and of course bathrooms and a water fountain. Ufortunately due to covid the park was still closed including the bathrooms and no water from the fountain. Once reopened it is a very nice area very and a quiet great place for a stroll and plenty of free side...

They just redid this park with contemporary playground equipment. It's a woodsy theme, very nicely done. Has a separate, but nearby, little kids area. Has special needs swings, picnic tables, shade shelters and an exercise equipment area. Very nice! My kids and I played tetherball, it was a blast from the past for me, but a totally new thing for them....
