The trail that Maps lists that is several miles long through the reservoir does not actually exist. Attempted following the line and walked as closely as possible to what my phone reported as the trail. It seems to just be a wildly overgrown ATV trail no longer in use. Made it about a mile deep before giving up. Uneven footing and looks to be prime snake habitat. Attempt on a dry cold day and wear boots, but thereās not much to see on the āBear Creek to Chatterton trailā other than the lake that is just on the other side...

Stay on trail because thereās a bunch of social paths that can cause confusion. Iāve seen people fish in the ponds but Iām not sure what type of fish inhabit the wetland areas. Definitely recommend, not too many folks know...
