We frequently visit Bear Creek Park and decided to walk over to the Harris County War Memorial during our last trip. It features a series of markers honoring the sacrifices of Harris County veterans from various conflicts, including WWI, WWII, the Korean and Vietnam Wars, the Gulf War, and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
