April 2 2024 Cliff Higgins was on time, and answered all our questions. Cliff is pleasant and professional. It was Spring time weed control and fertilizing today. We weren’t sure we got the watering requirements correct; a quick call to Cliff and we had our stuff straight! Highly recommend Cliff Higgins and Lawn Doctor.

Cliff Higgins came out today As always Cliff let us know when he would be there and he arrived as promised. Going above and beyond is part of Lawn Doctor’s service. We and our lawn are glad that Fall is finally here and Lawn Doctor is there!

December 9, 2022 Lawn Doctor is a reliable knowledgeable resource. They come when they are scheduled. They keep the lawn in good shape and counsel us how to take care of watering and mowing. We are glad to have Lawn Doctor doing the “heavy lifting” as that has become a challenge!

April 2022 We asked Lawn Doctor to do something unusual for a doctor! After 42 years, a newly sodded lawn was our goal, but the weeds were rampant. Jeff from Lawn Doctor came out 3X to be sure that everything green was gone. He reapplied when necessary. Jeff knows his stuff! He got right to the root of the problem, and our weeds and indeed our whole lawn is now dead, just as we desired. Now, we can start anew. Jeff kept in touch by text; arrived when scheduled; gave us immediate email feedback. We look forward to Lawn Doctor keeping our new lawn healthy, just as a doctor would do!

May 2022 Jeff from Lawn Doctor came out and did a fungus treatment in case our newly sodded lawn was overzealously watered. Better safe than sorry. Next Jeff applied fertilizer about a month after the sod was installed. He gave us direction about what sections of the lawn had been under-watered, so we could take action this week. Once again, good communication before and after a service is much appreciated. Emails detail what chemicals were used, suggestions about future care of the lawn and an easy to navigate website. Looking forward to continued good service! Did I mention we were awarded “Yard of the Month”. Been here forty years...that’s a first!

Aug. 2022 I can’t figure out how to leave a new review, so I am adding on! Lawn Doctor continues to help us get through this drought with our newly sodded lawn. Neil came out and fertilized and weed controlled at end of June and Cliff did the same mid-August. They recommend watering schedules and how often to mow the lawn. As soon as that fertilizer goes down, the lawn really perks up and as an added bonus; it rains! Cliff was especially good with the fertilizer. He covered everything and it shows. I've used other vendors in the past and always wanted them to be in a partnership with me in maintaining my property. What is got was a so-so effort. With Lawn Doctor I got that partnership from the start. As I had issues with my yard and they took an interest in solving m problems. Recently I had an issue, sent an email and one day later not one but two techs came out and looked at my problem. After they looked things over it was determined that the areas is question just needed more water. I know Lawn Doctor has many clients but in my dealings either with people on site, thru text or emails they make me feel like I'm there only customer. They really work hard in making sure their clients are in the loop. If they have issues on their end or weather gets in the way they are quick to let you know what's going on. Cliff Higgins did my service 12/4. Came to front door explained what he was here to do, asked if I have had any issues and then did the treatment. Cliff looked and acted very professional, which I appreciate. He represents Lawn Doctor very well. Thx I would like to add that Daniel Glover not only does a good job with my property but also was very helpful with some opportunities my yard has and suggestions he made.

Cliff Higgins did my weed and lawn spraying Monday 10/14. He was polite, professional and also looked the part. He let me know what he was here to do and advised me on when I needed to water the treated areas to get the best results. What I like about Cliff and the other techs that service my property is they slow down and take the time to listen to my questions and aren't trying to hurry and get things done. Cliff Higgins perform my service on 1/29. I wasn't home when he arrived but when I got home he did great and stopped what he was doing to let me know what he was going to do. I really like the fact I see the same techs regardless of the service I'm receiving. I would hope seeing the same tech gives them a vested interest in maintaining my property. Thanks again! Update: lawn doctor reached out to me regarding my billing concerns and I’m happy with the communication and resolution. Mistakes happen and it’s how a business handles them that shows how well they treat their customers. They did a good job in this case and in some prior cases. I’ve used other lawn services and lawn doctor is the easiest to communicate w/ by far.

The weed control is pretty good. Had greener lawns in the past with other companies. I like it’s a local office and I can talk to people when needed. Makes it easy to adjust service dates etc.

Once had the service person say they applied spot treatments when they did not based on the video from my security cameras. I let the office know and I got a credit.

Once they applied spot treatments that killed patches of grass. I understand the treatments can stress the grass yellow or brown for a short while, which it has done in the past. But, this killed the grass. I brought this up to the tech and the office and they didn’t really seem to care they killed the grass.

They increased the price of the fungus treatments from $65 to $109. I didn’t realize it until several months later and asked about it. They said I didn’t have a package plan. I was still getting the same treatments and then some, but the price went sky high. I told them I really felt I was being ripped off because there was no additional cost in labor or product and the price went up that high. The person in the office said she would talk to the owner about it. I never heard back. I did hear back, however, with an email that asked for me to leave a review because they are a small/local business and could use the feedback. So, they wont talk to me about the crazy increase in price, but they want a good review to help...
